Ada est une petite ville côtière à l'est d'Accra, au large de l'autoroute Accra-Aflao, le long de la Volta-rivière.

 

 

John and I were dating for few weeks when we decided to go there . It wasn't a big trip but we were a young couple and it was our first trip so we were excited. The road wasn't too bad, we drove about two and half hours from Accra.

We stayed in a nice guest house in the village and the people were nice as always.

We took the boat to the land betwen the river and the sea, it was a nice place very simple. We had fried rice and chicken for lunch (popular in Ghana) at one of the small resort there.  It wasn't allowed to swim into the sea ( the waves were high and the beaches were dirty) but we didn't care ( we won't live if we listen to what people say ) we swam in the river and went into the sea.

Then we had a boat trip around I even drove... We spent a nice day.

For dinner, we went to a nice resort on the river side . The food was good, we could have something else than fried rice and chicken, they made a fire on the beach and there was a karaoke.

The experience was good so we went there again and again .

If you are going to Ghana do not  forget to pass by!          

    

   John et moi étions ensemble depuis quelques semaines quand nous avons décidé d'y aller.
Ce n'était pas un long voyage, mais nous étions un jeune couple et c'était notre premier voyage et tout un weekend ensemble donc nous étions enthousiastes.
La route n'était pas trop mal, nous avons conduit environ deux heures et demie d'Accra. Nous sommes restés dans une belle maison d'hôtes dans le village et les gens étaient bien comme toujours. Nous avons pris le bateau à la terre entre la rivière et la mer, c'était un endroit agréable très simple. Nous avions du riz frit et du poulet pour le déjeuner (populaire au Ghana) à l'un des là-bas. On ne pouvait pas nager dans la mer (les vagues étaient hautes et les plages étaient sales) mais nous ne nous sommes pas inquiétés (nous ne vivrons pas si nous écoutons ce que les gens disent) nous avons nagé dans la rivière et sommes allés dans le mer. Ensuite, nous avons eu un voyage en bateau autour de moi même conduit.
Nous avons passé une belle journée. Pour le dîner, nous sommes allés dans un joli hôtel du côté de la rivière. La nourriture était bonne, on pu commander autre chose que du riz et du poulet, ils ont fait un feu sur la plage et il y avait un karaoké. L'expérience était bonne et nous y sommes allés encore et encore. Si vous allez au Ghana n'oubliez pas d'y passer!
